COVID-19 PROCEDURES

If you or anyone in the household is sick, please call to reschedule your appointment.

SPECIAL COVID-19 NOTICE

The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Roanoke Valley ENT & Allergy is open for business with a few modifications to our procedures in accordance with CDC and Virginia Department of Health guidelines. If you have an existing appointment, you should plan to keep it unless you are notified by text or email that it has been canceled. If you are sick, please contact our office to reschedule. If you have questions or believe you have an urgent condition, please call us at 540-655-1888.

Did you know our services can keep you out of the hospital? We can do in-office sinus procedures instead of sending you to the OR. An in-office sinus procedure can reduce your reliance on antibiotics and reduce the number of times you need to visit urgent care or the doctor’s office. We will be providing COVID screening prior to all procedures.

Roanoke Valley ENT & Allergy can provide you with healthy alternatives to keep you well during COVID-19.  If you’d like to hold your allergy shots or medications you can have the Clarifix procedure to improve your nasal symptoms profoundly in a single setting thus reducing the number of trips to doctors’ offices.

We have implemented a number of COVID-19 procedures for your safety and you should plan to arrive on time and wear a mask within our clinic.
  • Only the patient will be permitted to enter unless a spouse or care provider is also required in which case one additional person will be allowed.

  • Patients, spouses and caregivers will be met at our front entrance to have their temperature taken and asked a few questions before being allowed to proceed.

  • We are adhering to strict social distancing guidelines inside so there is a small chance that our waiting room may reach its limit and patients may be asked to wait in their car until contacted.

  • Once inside, you will find that we disinfect all surfaces frequently and strictly enforce the wearing of personal protective equipment.

  • We are promoting home allergy shots to reduce trips to the office.
